Children's Programming
At St. Mary's Road United Church we offer an array of programs to welcome you and your family into our community and to help you grow in faith and discipleship. Our children and youth program is a vital part of our ministry, teaching the stories of faith to our children, and helping our youth people to be active in the world.
Tots
Ages 3-4
Through playtime, stories, songs and crafts the pre-school children of SMRUC gather each week to learn Bible stories and have fun. They also enjoy joining in worship for baptisms and other special occasions. We welcome the Tots to join us while parents or other caregivers join in the 11am worship service nearby.
Beginnings
Ages 0-2
The youngest of the SMRUC community and their caregivers are welcome to seek out the caring community in the Nursery during worship. Parents are welcome to come with their children during the 11am worship services or drop off their children with our nursery coordinator. With plenty of toys and snacks our nursery program is more than ready to support you and your children.
613 Kids
Ages 5-10
Every Sunday morning parents are welcomed to drop their children off downstairs with our children and youth worship educators and volunteers. Our children's worship starts with a weekly check in and a review of the previous week's learning followed by the sharing of foundational story of the week. Children then explore the story with curated activities and play.
